Holdings Product Terms and License
Consumer Dividends
Effective date: July 17, 2026
These terms apply specifically to Holdings tools. They supplement and, where they conflict, override the master Terms of Service for Holdings purchases only.
1. What Holdings is
Holdings is a line of small, single-file software tools sold as one-time purchases. Current tools:
- Rental Value Analyzer — deterministic rental property analysis with cash flow metrics, projections, and an A-through-F grade.
- Financial Decision Calculators — debt payoff, amortization, buy-versus-rent, and savings projection calculators.
- Portfolio Allocation Analyzer — allocation, concentration, and rebalancing analysis for a portfolio you enter.
Tools are also sold together as the Complete Financial Bundle. Each tool is a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Holdings tools make no network requests, use no analytics, and do not use language models. Every calculation is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same result, and the methodology is documented inside each tool.
2. What you own
When you buy a Holdings tool, you own a licensed copy of the file, permanently. Specifically:
- You may keep and use the file forever. There is no subscription, no expiry, and no account required.
- You may use it on any number of devices you personally own or control.
- You may use it for your own personal and business purposes, including work you do for your own clients.
Ownership of a licensed copy does not include the source-code rights or resale rights. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, publish, or share the file, in whole or in part, with anyone outside your own household or business.
- Offer the tool, modified or unmodified, as your own product or as part of a paid or free service to third parties.
- Remove or alter the attribution, disclaimer, or methodology documentation inside the tool.
3. License scope
Each purchase grants a single-user license: one buyer, used by that person (or, for a business purchase, by that operator within their own business). If several people in a firm each need the tool independently, each should purchase their own copy.
4. Not advice
Holdings tools are deterministic analysis tools, not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Each tool produces results from the figures you enter and a fixed, documented methodology. The results are only as good as your inputs. The decisions you make with those results, and the responsibility for them, remain yours. For advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed professional.
5. As-is
Holdings tools are provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We stand behind the documented methodology, and we fix reported defects in future versions, but we do not warrant that any tool is error-free or that results are suitable for any specific decision.
6. Your data
Holdings tools transmit nothing. Anything you type stays on your device, and any file you save is stored locally by you. See the Holdings section of our Privacy Policy. Because we hold no copy of your data, we also cannot recover anything you delete locally.
7. Delivery and lost files
Your tool is delivered as a download on the confirmation page immediately after Stripe checkout. Keep a copy anywhere you like. If you lose the file, email support@consumerdividends.com with your Stripe receipt and we will send it again.
8. Updates
A purchase is a purchase of the tool as it exists at the time of sale. When we ship improved versions, we may, at our discretion, make updated files available to prior buyers, but continued updates are not a promised part of the purchase.
9. Refunds
Because a Holdings purchase delivers the complete, unprotected file immediately, all sales are final once the download page has been reached. If a tool is defective in a way that support cannot resolve, contact us and we will make it right.
